Textbooks reflect the professional standards and established practices of English language education. Think English Club therefore aligns with recognised school curricula and the content learners are expected to encounter. At the same time, our focus is on developing skills, not on completing a particular textbook.
Because the Club is independent of publishing companies, we are not tied to a particular series or influenced by commercial campaigns. This allows us to evaluate the textbook landscape independently and choose materials according to what best serves our learners.
We believe this choice should be transparent. Parents and learners should know which materials they will use, so the Club continuously reviews, evaluates and improves its textbook portfolio. Currently, we use textbooks from the following publishers: Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, National Geographic Learning, Pearson and Macmillan Education.
The Club does not create its own learning materials.
Before joining the programme, each learner completes a placement assessment. This gives a clear picture of their current English level, academic experience and areas for development.
